At the age of 24 Barry became one of the youngest directors of photography in the business. Barry has worked with clients both nationally and internationally winning numerous prestigious awards including the Clio, Addy New York, Addy Los Angelos, The Belding, Golden Mobius and the Venice Film Festival.

Barry's internal journey is manifest through his photography. Armed with a deep understanding that a photograph provides a specific perspective in a definite point in time, Barry likes to describe his work as capturing a moment in time that has been overlooked. Describing the captivation he feels when he gazes upon something beautiful, Barry says, "Sometimes I wonder if I am capturing the moment or if the moment is capturing me."
